The days of invasion and repression for the Baltic countries are now over, leaving a veritable wealth of treasures to explore and people bursting to express themselves. The Baltic capitals alone have some of the most atmospheric streets and spectacular sights in all Eastern Europe - and history to match.Kicking off in Vilnius we travel up through the Lithuanian countryside into Latvia, and up to Riga - the capital. We travel via the town of Baukas and the magnificient Rundale Palace. From Riga it's into the heart of Estonia and north to the medieval capital of Tallinn. Then we follow the Narva Highway across the border into Russia and on to the 'Venice of the North', St Petersburg.
Accommodation
A mixture of camping in the regions fabulous national parks, and hotel accommodation when staying in town.

10 Day TourDay 1 - Arrive in Vilnius, Lithuania
Day 2 - Walking Tour of Vilnius
Visit to Trakai Castle.
Day 3 - Activity. Then onto Riga via Rundale Palace. Free evening.
Day 4 - Walking Tour of Riga. On to Estonia.
Day 5 - Activity. On to Tallinn for a walking tour of the city. Evening entertainment.
Day 6 - Free morning. Then on to Lehamaa National Park
Day 7 - Activity. Then on to St Petersburg.
Day 8 - Visit to the Hermitage
Evening Entertainment.
Day 9 - An alternative tour of the city. Followed by free time.
Day 10 - Optional trip to the town of Pushkin.
Day 11 - Return to London.
