2 ½ weeks: Victoria Falls to Windhoek or v.v. (DR4CC-XVW)

A full itinerary with more than just the highlights. Off the beaten track areas of Namibia. Easy lifestyle with good facilities. Plenty of adventure activities along the way. A perfect short break.

General Notes

Okavango Delta: If the group is too small we will be unable to use the houseboats and will enter the Delta by mokoro canoe and bushcamp for 2 nights in the Delta.Because of its nature, this itinerary may vary.Kitty does not cover food while staying in hotels and hostels or at Vic Falls.

Activities available at extra costs

  • Rafting, bungee, horses, boats and elephant riding at Vic Falls
  • Boat trips, traditional dancing, horse riding at the beautiful Mkwazi Lodge
  • Quad bike, sand-board, sky dive or ride horses through the Swakopmund dune fields

Nights 1-4:

Zimbabwe & Botswana: 2 night stay at Vic Falls in Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe & Botswana: Wildlife boat safari through Chobe NP, home to thousands of elephant

Zimbabwe & Botswana: Take an open top jeep safari in Chobe NP

Nights 5-8:

Namibia & Botswana: Guided visit to a Caprivi fishing community

Namibia & Botswana: Overland through Northern Chobe and the Caprivi Strip

Namibia & Botswana: 2 night houseboat and dugout canoe expedition into the Okavango

Nights 9-12:

Northern Namibia: Relaxing 2 night stay at Ngepi, stunning campsite on the Kavango River

Northern Namibia: Visit to San Bushman community (either school or local village)

Northern Namibia: Meet cheetahs face to face at Otjitongwe Cheetah Reserve

Nights 13-16:

Northern Namibia & Skeleton Coast: Village visit in Northern Namibia to meet the unique Himba tribe in their own environment

Northern Namibia & Skeleton Coast: 2 nights to explore and hike in the stunning landscape of Spitzkoppe

Northern Namibia & Skeleton Coast: Visit to the Skeleton Coast's outrageous Cape Cross seal colony
