Itineraries

Day 1,LA PAZ - COPACABANA

Travel by bus to the town of Copacabana on the southern shore of Lake Titicaca, a site of religious pilgrimage for centuries. Copacabana is still well known for its festivities, which bring this ordinarily sleepy place to life with pilgrims and visitors from all over Bolivia.

Day 2,SUN ISLAND

Transfer to Sun Island and spend a full day exploring. Attractions include the Pilko Kaina Inca Temple, the Inca Stairway and Inca Springs where water runs alongside a staircase of 1001 steps. On the northern part of the island you can visit the Rock of the Puma, or Titi Khar’ka, which is believed to be the stone from where the sun and the first Inca leader have risen. Overnight in Copacabana.

Day 3,COPACABANA - LA PAZ

We travel back to La Paz. On the way you visit the enigmatic Tiwanaku ruins. Tour ends on arrival.
