Intro
We start our South East Asian adventure in Singapore where you can explore the exciting night market or relax over a quiet beer at Raffles Hotel. We then head north, watching as the landscape, cultures and peoples change. Both Malaysia and Thailand are fascinating countries and we explore exotic cities, hike through jungle and mountains and relax on pristine white beaches.Group Size

Day 1, SINGAPOREArrive and check in to hotel.
Day 2, MELAKADrive from Singapore to Melaka on the Malaysian west coast. This beautiful town was the capital of the Melaka Sultanate. Free time to explore.
Day 3, MELAKAA free day.
Day 4, KUALA LUMPURDrive to Malaysias vibrant capital city. At night you can visit the famous KL night market.
Day 5, KUALA LUMPURA free day to explore KL. You can climb the immense Petronas Towers, one of the worlds tallest buildings, or go further afield and visit the Batu Caves.
Day 6, CAMERON HIGHLANDSWe journey to the spectacular hill-station country of the Cameron Highlands.
Day 7, CAMERON HIGHLANDSA full day to take jungle walks and visit tea plantations and spice gardens.
Day 8, PENANGDrive to the famous island of Penang via Butterworth. Georgetown, the capital of Penang, is a wonderful place to wander and has arguably the most exciting Chinatown in the region.
Day 9, PENANGA free day to explore the markets and beaches.
Day 10, PENANG - SURAT THANIDrive from Penang into Thailand. We pass through the border province of Satun and spend the night in Surat Thani.
Day 11, KOH PHA NGANTravel by bus and ferry through the Gulf of Thailand, passing several islands until we reach Koh Pha Ngan. On arrival we take a jungle pick-up ride over the mountains to Thongnaipan beach.
Days 12-14, KOH PHA NGANDays of leisure and scenic beauty await us here. Theres plenty to do - swimming, snorkelling, walks to jungle waterfalls, boat trips to other beaches, islands or into the scenic Ang Thong National Marine Park, or just lie on the beach and relax.
Day 15, SURAT THANITransfer back to Surat Thani for an overnight train journey towards Bangkok.
Day 16, RIVER KWAI - BANGKOKDisembark in Bangkok and transfer to Kanchanaburi where we visit the infamous Bridge on the River Kwai, JEATH Museum and War Cemetery before returning to Bangkok in the afternoon.
Day 17, BANGKOKTour ends but it doesnt have to! Why not continue on to northern Thailand, Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam on another of our great adventures? (B)
