Day 1, BANGKOKArrive and transfer to Royal Orchid Sheraton. (D)
Day 2, BANGKOKGuided tour of the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Keow. In the afternoon we transfer to the Mekhala and cruise up the mighty 'River of Kings' towards Ayuthaya. (BD)
Day 3, AYUTHAYAWe rise early to take part in an alms-giving ceremony then continue to Ayuthaya. Return to the Royal Orchid Sheraton. (BLD)
Day 4, VIENTIANEWe have a morning flight to the quietest capital city on earth. Transfer to the magnificent Settha Palace, a turn of the century French colonial palace converted to the citys finest hotel. Afternoon guided tour of the city. Tonight we will dine in one of the citys French restaurants or along the banks of the Mekong. (BD)
Day 5, VIENTIANEA free day to wander through this sleepy little capital city. Maybe visit the 'Buddha Park' on the outskirts of town. (BD)
Day 6, LUANG PRABANGFly to the mysterious north of the country over beautiful limestone karst scenery and deep forests. Luang Prabang is the cultural, historical and religious centre of the most forested country on earth. Afternoon guided tour of the highlights with temples and palaces galore. We stay in the magnificently restored 3 Nagas Hotel. (BD)
Day 7, LUANG PRABANGFree day to wander around this incredibly beautiful town or explore further afield and visit nearby waterfalls. (B)
Day 8, LUANG PRABANGToday we take a boat trip to Pak Ou Caves and explore this religiously significant Buddhist site. (BD)
Day 9, ANGKOR WATWe fly to one of the worlds great wonders, Angkor Wat. On arrival we will transfer to Angkor Village Resort. We relax for the afternoon in preparation for exploring these marvellous monuments to the lost Khmer civilization. (BD)
Day 10, ANGKOR WATFull day tour starting with the magnificent sunrise over the main complex. We explore Bayon, the Terrace of the Leper King, Tha Phohm and of course Angkor Thom. (BLD)
Day 11, ANGKOR WATWe continue our exploration by visiting the little known Roulos group of temples. Tonight we enjoy an Apsara dance presentation. (BLD)
Day 12, ANGKOR WATIncluded in the tour is a three day pass to the Angkor complex. Today you have the choice of further exploring the complex by yourself, venturing further afield to Banea Srei, wandering the markets of Siem Reap or relaxing by the pool. (B)
Day 13, BANGKOKToday we fly back to Bangkok and the Royal Orchid Sheraton. Tonight we take a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River - a fitting farewell to a great tour. (BD)
Day 14, BANGKOKWe transfer you to the airport for your international flight. (B)
