Days 7-8 Todra & Dades GorgesWatch the sunrise over the desert before heading to Todra Gorge. For the energetic there is the option to trek into the gorge the next day.
Travelling, off piste through some of Morocco's wildest terrain in a 4WD we reach the Dades Gorge.
Pass through valleys and mud brick kasbahs on the way to the ancient fortified city of Ait Benhaddou which is begging to be photographed.
Days 10-11 High Atlas MtsJourneying onward (approx. 5 hours) over the spectacular Tizi-n-Tichka Pass (2,260m) we reach the spectacular Toubkal National Park, nestled below Morocco's highest mountain, Mt Toubkal (4,167m). At the road's end in Imlil, we walk to the remote village of Armed, where we are welcomed by friendly locals and panoramic views.
Days 12-13 EssaouiraWith its whitewashed houses and colourful fishing boats, Essaouira is a gem for any photographer to visit. A guided walking tour acquaints us with the town's fascinating history, then there's free time to wander along the beach and later to dine on fresh seafood.
