Pinnacles, Dolphins & Coral Bay - Overland Trip

1 ½ weeks: Perth to Perth (KU-AUF4)

Western Australia is an adventure waiting to happen! It boasts endless pristine beaches, amazing natural attractions, and beautiful climate. Our family adventure begins in the city of Perth, claiming to be the sunniest state capital in Australia. We then head out to the Nambung National Park, and the mysterious and ancient Pinnacles, camping on the Murchison River. We drive via Shell Beach to Monkey Mia where you can experience the mystical world of wild dolphins on this World Heritage coastline. Next stop Coral Bay with time to snorkel at Ningaloo Reef and swim with whale sharks (April to June). Overland across the Hammersley Ranges to Karijini National Park, with its amazing landscapes, bizarre wildlife and Aboriginal culture. Here we experience the traditional swag bushcamp, before heading south again back to Perth via the old gold mining town of Mt Magnet, and New Norcia, Australia’s only monastic town.
