Itineraries (Rio – Manaus - Rio)

Fly to Manaus, in the heart of the Amazon. Upon arrival, journey by canoe into the Amazon to your jungle lodge. On the way you will witness the “Meeting of the Waters”, where the black waters of the Rio Negro and the brown waters of the Solimões River meet and run together for miles without mixing until they finally merge to form the mighty Amazon River. (BD) Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge is a remote rainforest lodge in the middle of the Amazon on the banks of the Rio Trauma. With several clear streams running through the area and over six miles of jungle trails this is the perfect base for exploring this vast ecosystem.

Two full days to explore the Amazon by foot and canoe, accompanied by a local guide. Your visit will include alligator spotting at night, piranha fishing and a visit to a local village of "Caboclos" (local Amazonians). (BLD)

Return to Manaus and fly back to Rio.
