Travel from busy Johannesburg along the spectacular Panorama Route and into the mountaintop kingdom of Swaziland, boasting Africa\'s oldest monarchy. Spend a night in the scenic Hlane Game Reserve as nocturnal animals come out to play before chilling out on the beaches of Mozambique, where traces of the Portuguese colonial era remain in its elegant architecture, vibrant culture and delicious cuisine. All these are yours to enjoy before the journey concludes in glamorous seaside Durban.

Itineraries (Johannesburg - Durban)

Day 1 Johannesburg

Begin this amazing adventure in South Africa's bustling commercial city.

Days 2-3 Kruger National Park

Travel the famous Panorama Route and take in spectacular Blyde River Canyon, which stretches for nearly 30 km in length. In the Kruger National Park, get a first thrilling chance to sight the Big Five on a full day's game drive.

Day 4 Hlane Royal National Park

It's only a short drive to the tiny kingdom of Swaziland, perched on the slopes of the spectacular Drakensberg Mountains. Explore the lively market, then go white rhino spotting with a walking safari.

Days 5-6 Ponta d'Ouro/Mozambique Beach Camp

African and Portuguese cultures come together in Maputo, Mozambique's charming capital. Stroll its attractive tree-lined streets, browse the colourful central market, relax on a sandy beach or sit down at a sidewalk cafe for a seafood feast. At sundown, perhaps rub shoulders with hip locals, chilling out with a beer in hand or dancing to booming beats in one of the many bars and nightclubs.

Day 7 St Lucia Estuary

Return to South Africa for a game drive through the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve. This is the country's oldest reserve, and encounters with both the critically endangered black and white rhinos are not uncommon.

Day 8 Durban

The trip ends in South Africa's seaside playground. Stay a little longer to enjoy its glamorous waterfront scene or explore extraordinary Muslim and Hindu architecture in the vibrant Indian quarter.
