African WildRide Safari - Quad bike Trip
1 ½ weeks: Entebbe to Entebbe (10 Day Adventure)
10 Day (can be modified to suit) package combining guided ATV safaris and other optional adventure activities such as; white-water rafting and kayaking at the Source of the River Nile, horse back safaris, fishing, bungy jump and/or volunteer community projects.You will be meet at Entebbe international Airport by our representative and looked after until your departure. The itinerary is flexible and has space for some rest days or one adrenaline packed day after another - your choice.
The package includes a 2 day AVT / Quad-bike safari beside the River Nile with lee days kick back beside the pool or experience some of the other adventure activities at Bujagali Falls - East Africa\'s adventure capital. All along the way there are many opportunities to meet Ugandans from all walks of life and experience some of the cultural diversity found in the \"green pearl of Africa\".
The final 4 days of the safari are spent at Lake Mburo National Park. There are no elephant or lion in this park (good!) but many other species such as; zebra, topi, impala, water buck, eland, warthog, etc. (even better!). There are over 300 species of bird recorded at Lake Mburo.NP. Expect to see many of them in the mosaic of habitats from rolling savannah to lush wetland that make up the park - without a steel box around you. No previous experience is needed as your guides will train you in the basics of riding a quadbike and develop your skills along the way. Feel a warm African breeze on your face.
We use well maintained Honda and Suzuki ATVs, our guides have had over 5 years experience. Most of your essentials are catered for - a camera, changes of clothes and a toothbrush are all you need to bring. We provide all riding gear, bottled water, refreshments and meals whilst on the ATV safaris. Full accommodation including hot showers are provided every night.

Various levels of accommodation from luxury tented camp or guesthouse to backpackers while at Bujagali Falls. Luxury Tented camp, lodge or banda at Lake Mburo National Park.
Kitty Notes
Accommodation options at Bujagali Falls/Jinja (from about $100 to $25 /night), some meals and bartabs not included so as to allow for your budget. Other adventure activities range in price from $25 to $100. Upgrade options are available at Lake Mburo National Park.
Itineraries
Day 1Meet at Entebbe International Airport.
Transfer to Bujagali Falls.
Settle in. Sights and sounds of Jinja.
Afternoon introductory Explorer ATV safari beside the Nile.
Optional adventure activites include full day whitewater rafting or tandam kayaking on the Nile (grade 5 rapids), Nile Horseback safari, bungy jump over the Source, mountainbiking, fishing, golfing, zipwire or volunteer community work.
Day 4Start 2 day ATV safari following the river downstream. Overnight at an island resort in the middle of the river.
Day 5Return to Bujagali Falls over diverse tracks through forest, farms and small villages in the hinterland of the Nile.
Day 6Rest Day / other adventure activites / cultural entertainment
Day 7Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Finish the day with an introductory ATV gamedrive and a cold drink around the campfire.
Day 8Exploring the park. Game drives and forest rides. Tailored to suit your requirements.
Day 9Out of the park and into the buffer zone around it. We use a compass to navigate as each trip follows different paths.
Day 10Morning game drive or boat trip to see the hippos and crocs. Pack and transfer back to Entebbe Airport.
